Testing Method of Methionine

 

The Principle:
Reagents and water used in the standard are analytical grade reagents and three levels water  according to GB/T 6682, except special annotation. Instruments and equipment are general laboratory equipment.Excess of iodine solution are added into in the neutral medium accurately,  which would combine two iodine atom with sulfur atoms from methionine, then the excess iodine are titrated with odium sulfate standard solution.
